Is all hope gone in terms of what exactly? You may still be able to sync to a pc to get your contact info copied.

Give us some more info please.

Does it appear that the screen has physical damage? If you've gotten everything off of the phone that you want then you may want to try a hard reset.

Keep in mind that doing a hard reset will ERASE EVERYTHING...Let me repeat...it will ERASE EVERYTHING.

Re: help! 6800?

if the phone works, it MIGHT possibly be that the connection was knocked out of the screen. There are manuals that can help you perform front line surgery on your phone, BUT... its a gamble. I also believe Ive seen an instructional on youtube, but my internet connection isnt fast enough right now for me to do a search to give you any links (sorry!) I do know there's info out there on this issue because I used to have a 6800 myself and remember some threads on it. Hope this helps!

With this in mind do you, luckster, have insurance on the phone?
