XV6800 Upgrade

Okay, I just got to this forum because I've been flashing my i910 lately and now I'm wanting to switch my XV6800 from WM6.1 to WM6.5.
Where do I start for this phone?
Is there an "unofficial" rom that I will need to flash to first?
Where is the link to "plug in" my XV to flash it?

Alrighty, well here's some information for you...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=415364 - This is the 3.42.50 radio.

http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...name=HTC_Titan - This is the Titan wiki over at xda. It gives you a pretty good rundown of how to flash and where to get the stuff.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492214 - This is the thread where I got the 6.5 ROM I put on my xv6800. At boot I have about 45% free (high mem no camera).

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46525 - Go here if you wanna cook your own ROM with PPCKitchen.

Here's what I did using a mini SD card. If you don't use it you'll need to get Olipro and some of the directions below won't apply. Also, to use the miniSD method you'll need a card < or = 2 GB and formatted to Fat32

I forgot to put this as step 1 and I don't plan to renumber everything, so may sure to put your phone in flight mode before flashing...otherwise your data may not work...

1. Get your hands on nueSPL (pretty sure it's in the GPS part of the first link I gave you)

2. Download the 3.42.50 radio from the link above and pick the ROM you want to use.

3. Make sure you have all your settings written down from EPST...just in case. I'm not sure which ones exactly you'll need...I spent a good hour writing them all down (don't do this...you don't need them all. I didn't need any of them, but you'll wanna play it safe.)

4. Copy the .exe from the nueSPL download and put it on your device. Run the .exe from your device and follow the directions.

5. Put the radio on your device and rename it to TITAIMG if necessary.

6. Press [camera]+[power]+[soft reset] at the same time.

7. Press power and let it finish.

8. Copy RUU_signed.nbh from the ROM download, rename it to TITAIMG.nbh and follow steps 6 and 7.

9. You should now have WinMo 6.5 on your xv6800.

You're probably going to discover 2 things. First, when you try to call you're going to get a nice message saying they can't authenticate your phone. If this happens you can either call Verizon's tech support, tell them you hard reset your phone (God help you if you tell them you flashed it) and you're getting that message. If you have a spare Verizon phone just dial *228, activate the other phone, then do the same on your xv6800.

You'll also notice you don't have data. To fix this go to Start>Settings>Connections>Connections. Tap manage existing connections. Tap edit. Tap next. Tap next. In the user name box type "Your10DigitNumber@vzw3g.com" and for the password put "vzw". You should be golden after that.

Let me know if you need help with anything else.
