Need help. I accidentally dropped the mogul to the seawater

Now the phone is having some serious problems. I just ordered the phone on July 11.

Any good advice? Do I need to pay the full price to get a replacement? thanks.

I believe water damaged phones aren't covered under warranty.

I wouldn't ask both questions in the same phone call!

I don't thbink warranty will replace any water damaged phone but assurio(the 4 dollars insurance?) will, it covers theft, damage, and lost I believe. if the op wanted to go through the warranty then the phone have to be a defective mogul. oh yeah if u decide to go through the insurance be prepared to pay 50 bucks with ur credit or debit car.

I had a similar problem and I ended up having to go through the $7 a month company (Assurio or whatever) and they replaced it with no problem in about 3 days for $50. The problem with Sprint is, apparently you can't lie to them (if you were thinking about trying) because there's a sticker on the inside of the phone that turns red when it gets wet. It's in the upper right hand corner where the battery goes if you want to check. If you're having problems, you're best bet is to go through the insurance.

Everyone is correct. If you don't have the insurance you need to call Customer Service and ask them to add the $7 TEP if you have had the phone for less than 30 days.

Once it is added it will be 30 days before you can file a claim with Asurion and it will be a $50 deductible.
