Screen invisible in sunlight (using Lazyboy's iPhone skin)

I know that its hard to read an LCD in sunlight, but my old Treo was much better than this. I'm wondering if it is the light on color scheme of the skin or if there's a setting I have missed.

I am using the screen protector that came with the phone. Indoors the screen looks great. Outside, I have to shade it with my hand to see anything. It's just super-dark.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Mark

Is your screen brightness on the max setting? If so there's really nothing else you can do. These screens just don't have enough brightness to outcompete the sun. It's normal.

Normal for the Mogul but not normal for pdaphones. If only they had the brightness and clarity of the 755p with the real estate of the Mogul screen.
