HELP WITH JAVA RINGTONES AND SCREENSAVERS!!!!

I have downloaded ringtones to my phone but instead of downloading to the SD card they go through Java and get named as QCD files. how the hell do i save them to the sd card from here. screensavers i can just view and then press menu and " set as today screensaver" but the ringtones just play in WMP and i get an error message when tryin to assign them to contacts...can anyone help me with this please?? Im going to be flashing my rom with the new update(yeah i know im late) tonight and i want to be able to save the ringtones to SD card so i wont lose them....


ANY SUGGESTIONS????!

this is what i did.

connect the phone to your home PC, drag and drop your ringtone MP3 files into the "ringtone" folder on your device. Go to phone settings, and in the drop down your tones should show up.

thanks....i usually do it OTA. by sending the link to my phone...it just so happens the uploader site i was using turns everything into a qcd file. its ok thought i got my other site to do it...thanks!!!
