Can steam shorten battery life

Before we begin, I am aware steam is water.

That being said, I left my Mogul in the bathroom last night during a shower. I noticed this morning, that my unit seems to be losing power much faster that it has been in the past week.

Think this is all in my head, or is it possible I've done some perm damage? The device acts fine, with the exception of it only counts the battery down in powers of 10, and it takes a moment to gauge the battery.

100, 90, 80 etc...

I thought it used to count down by 100 parts

100, 99, 98, 97 etc...

Any ideas on this one?

No, it has always counted down in 10% increments. I doubt your phone is damaged, it's take a lot more to break it (like put it in a steam pressure cooker).

Thanks for the help, the battery gauge was probably in my head, but the life of the battery has really cut down, I'll do a hard-reset to see if its something i configured differently this time around.

That's the answer exactly - the device (for whatever reason) only counts the battery gauge in 10% increments. I use SPB Pocket Plus and only get 10% notices (and yes, the program supports exact numbers).

Kinda sucks that it only does it in 10% increments. I'd like for it to be exact numbers but oh well. It's better then on a regular phone where you get 3 or 4 bars to tell you what the battery is, in 25-33% increments.
