there is a particular line:

Number of colors (list number) LCD supports 262K; OS supports 65K

i've always wondered why our devices were limited to that many colors, but it appears it's in the OS. think there's a way to bump it up ot 262k with a tweak or something? the last few devices i had before my 6700 had that color depth, and i really liked it.

Yep, that's just WM. I don't think there's a tweak out for it, and I don't even know why the OS only supports 65K. Whatever, it's just a PPC. :p
