Wifi while recharging via wall adapter

Hello Folks,

I have a P4000 (with wm6) and was wondering if any of you are experiencing this sort of behavior.

when I have my device plugged in to the wall adapter and turn on the wifi, the device gets pretty hot. It also, seems to keep on going from charging (amber light) to not charging (green flashing ligt).

It only does this when plugged into the wall adapter. when I have it plugged into my computer with the wifi on it recharges without the behavior above.

Anyone else experience this?

my sprint mogul doesnt behave this way - but the wifi seems to take enough power that it doesnt really charge. the light stays solid orange, but ive woke up in the morning with the same amount of battery life i went to sleep with when i forgot to turn wifi off.

Okay. I tried turning the wifi on while connected to my car charger and did not experience the issue in my initial post.

I think it has to do with the fact I have my wall adapter plugged into a extension cord while charging.

I will try it plugged directly into the wall to see if I can the same affect
