Re: Boost Mobile Internet Connection Settings

Howdy Boost Mobile fans,
I have made the switch to boost from cricket. I've had many hurdles but so far I'm getting 100% unlimited for internet, calls, text etc for just $50. Plus unlike Cricket the speeds seem to be much faster.
The 2 things that seems to work for me when I get stuck is to flash a stock sprint ROM on my Titan. Then if needed call Boost and ask if they could reflash your settings. Careful here... Some tool bags that love their job may look into your account and try to shut you down. Most will just reflash the thing and you're good to go.
I've used WMWifrouter as well as Internet Sharing. Both work great but it seems like every few weeks Boost trys to shut me down.
I would like to avoid the spy games but considering I'm saving over $40 per month it's well worth it.
And Fellow NOOBS. DO NOT SAY. "UH THIS GUY I KNOW HAS A MOGUL AND HE IS GETTING ON BOOST MOBILE."
If you don't get the results you want be polite, hang up and try again in a few minutes.

Re: Boost Mobile Internet Connection Settings

i have a mogul on boost cdma nationwide...and it works fine.. all features work flawless.i feal sorry for the ones that pay 99$ for unlimited data. its easy to hook it up on the internet. make sure u do a master reset. and once you activated the phone on the internet, the web is going to give u a msid and mdn. and follow the directions on the page..its easy.. boost rocks

Re: Boost Mobile Internet Connection Settings

I have a question: in order to use the mogul on Boost, does it need to be flashed? Im new to the Boost CDMA world and I figured since the network is all Sprint anyway, there shouldn't be a need to flash...please advise. If that's all it needs is a master reset, then I'm good to go!

Re: Boost Mobile Internet Connection Settings

No flashing is needed. Start off with a stock Sprint ROM then go play around in the kitchen. The Mogul is going to show up in their database and that is why it will work. I tried to get an xv6800 from verizon on their and they told me to pack sand.
Boost Mobile is awesome. Think about it... Cricket prices with Sprints coverage and service!
To make sure nobody ruins this greatness do us all a favor. If and when you have to call Boost for any issue. They are going to ask you if you are calling from your phone. You shall say "NO". Last time I was on the phone I must have got a hold of "employee of the year guy". He started spouting off, "well if you're calling from your phone then we need to bla bla cause your phone is showing bla bla."
Just politely say no and ask them to refresh your settings and hang up. I limit my downloads to under 100 MB per month so don't get greedy.
Does anyone know of a program that will let Boost folks move around in stealth mode?

Re: Boost Mobile Internet Connection Settings

Check out the Howard Forums Boost CDMA forums, they have all the info about PST settings to get the internet working proper on HTC Mogul. Mine is working fine and I'm on Boost Mobile now with a used Sprint Mogul.
