help with mtty!!!
 
ok to start i have a ppc 6800, quest phone with a custom rom from ppc kitchens, flashed to metro it has been unlocked with olli pro 2.40 has the newest radio 3.37 ,if i have forgot to mention somthing im sorry just ask. ok now my problem i have vista on my lap top and have uninstalled activesync/windows moble, disabled the drivers and still cannot get mtty to open, i can however get father if i start the dmrouter first then start mitty then put phone in bootloader, but cannot get anything to respond, i am trying to superCID my phone. if anybody has some info for me would be appreciated.

Look in stuck in bootloader thread to figure out if more activesync stuff needs to be stopped.

I found that running mtty_0513_Test.exe worked a lot better for me than any other version.
I'm running XP as my O.S. and was told that version of mtty was for Vista,
but the other versions wouldn't give me any response this one worked great.

well tried the new mtty but still same prob. mtty wont open a port while im in bootloader mode, it will however open one while the dmrouter is running. ive uninstalled the drivers for avtive sync but then my phone is not there , i can then unplug and replug in my phone the dang, drivers reinstall. does any body know if this is a vista isue or am a freakin tard, and not doing somthing right.:violent2:

well i figured it out just because windows mobile has been uninstalled it dont mean that it is gone , click on it disable connect to usb box and on mitty select the usb setting not com1 or whatever,so ya , im a tard.=D>

in the future, you could try out nuettyconsole

which automatically disables wmdc and the like.
