I have been using PocketMusic for the past year or so and I have really liked it.

Not sure what the problem could be, but i've been using the HTC audio manager to play mp3's personally. Never had a problem with music on the storage card with it.

Search the Titan forum for "equalizer", and you'll find my post searching for a better audio player. A guy on here posted TCPMP, which is an EXCELLENT audio player with a bunch of settings.

You can try another program such as TCMP or their new commercial player Core Player. I really like TCMP and especially use it for listening to podcasts because it can jump ahead a certain number of seconds with a press of the d-pad.
