check your bill for over/extra charge if you upgraded

they stuck me with a $200 cancellation charge

took away my evdo service credit $10

and over charge excise and USF tax up the wazoo (about $20 over my normal) in addition to the regular sales tax

on hold with *2 now

I upgraded to a Mogul through Sprint's website and when I got my invoice for the next month I ended up with a $200 termination charge. Fortunately, it only took one email to fix the situation.

I would suggest you also check your tax portions and any credits you normally get monthly

My bill this month is

$17.36 for county and state excise tax
vs
$2.85

$7.19 for Federal USF Non-LD surcharge
vs
$0.95

I'm thinking they lump the equpiment purchase price into the calculation.

I also lost my $10 EVDO service credit (monthly)
but kept my $8 SMS service credit

When they credited back the $200 it did include the tax charged along with it as well.

yeah, just got done with the call, took 1.5 hours of waiting and talking to fix everything, they credit the tax back when they do the credit for the cancellation charge

mine was a 150 dollar cancellation fee.
I got it refunded but now I gotta check my taxes.

this is really starting to bug me about sprint...they always try and make it seem like they are doing me a favor by fixing these sporatic billing issues...its not my fault

This happened to me also. The tech kept trying to convince me that I actually had an extra line of service. Finally got the $200 ETF refunded, all taxes back, and a service credit on top! Was worth being transferred 3 times I guess!

Can someone fill me in on what this EVDO service credit is? Though I'm not new to Sprint, I am new to EVDO -- only had my Mogul for 2 weeks.

Thanks!
