How to clear Recent/Opened Programs in START MENU
I was just curious if there was a way how to clear the recent programs that appear in the Start menu?~?

Both SK Tools and MemMaid can do this.

The recent program information is stored in the Pocket PC registry. It is stored under the following key:
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\SHELL\TaskSwitch\ |

When checked on, MemMaid will clear the program run history on each soft-reset. NOTE: make sure to install the latest build of MemMaid (at least Build 95) |
Didn't see it posted here so i thought i'd let you guys know about a program that was posted about over on the sprintusers forum. Goto this page here and download the program Clear Temp. It works perfectly for me on my mogul. Not only does it do the recent/opened programs in the start menu it also does the following.
Temp, Cache, Cookies, History, Opera/minimo/netfront Cache, Custom Folder 1&2, Large Mail, Mail Attachments, Recent Programs, Internet Addresses, Boot Count, Bad Theme Registry, Bad Uninstall Registry, Dead Shortcuts. Definatly worth checking out, then you wouldn't have to buy memaid or do a bit of registry editing by hand either. |
