How to Create/Install Call Tones?~?

I was just curious if anyone knew on how to create/install call tones on your phone; for instance, when someone calls you, (the call tone) is what they will hear; ie. music, sounds, etc. Any info would be more than helpful... :?:

That is set up through your cell provider, and costs extra.

I don't see an option through Sprint to use or download call tones. When I switched from my M1 to the mogul my call tone stopped working. Does anyone know how or why this feature is disabled or how to get around it?

call tones not currently supported

when using a windows platform of any kind you no longer have a content manager, so it is not possible to add calltones... this may change in the future however with the java access to the music store...cross your fingures, it may lead to a virtual content manager allowing this feature to finally be avail to a ppc

also to answer the question of setting up custom...unfortunantly this is not an option because the calltones are stored on the network not on your device, sorry..

calltones works fine with the normal "calltones hack" search for it on this forum.

It is possible to access call tones on a WM phone as I can do it right now. There was a hack that allowed you to access the vision pcs webpage by setting up a Sprint proxy and making your browser state it was Blazer (PalmOS). However, I don't know if that hack still works. The hack tricked the Sprint vision page into thinking you were on a non Windows Mobile phone and let you in.

I did this on my old Treo 700wx and bookmarked the page. I transferred my PIE bookmarks to my 6800 and it still works. Now I can access that bookmark even though I don't have any of those Sprint settings any longer. I can still set call tones using this bookmarked page, but I don't really use them. The bookmark is unique to your account, so I can't give you mine as it's unique to my account.
