Mogul Acting Slow
I do not know what the problem could be except for the tweaks done to it or programs installed
Tweaks done "Speed up" reg tweak, found on this site. Increased cache size No SMS notification Window animation tweaks [took them off] Programs A_C Slide2unlock LED Killer 3.1 Batti X-Button 1.5 Arcsoft MMS PHM Registry Editor At first everything ran smooth even with all the tweaks and programs. Now it takes forever for my screen to wake up. To switch from portrait to landscape. Open any program. Unlock. Respond to number or letter input [such a text messages] I can find the links to all the registry tweaks if needed, they were all found on this site however. And I could also be more specific on the changes and values if needed. This is my first PPC and I just loved it before it started to slow down. *PS- This site is amazing =] Thankyou for reading, Karot |
If you haven't updated to the latest rom you could try that.
|
Forgot to add that part.
I have the latest ROM also Karot, |
Have you tried reseting the device using the button next to the USB port? Wheb mine is slow a reset usually picks it up.
|
I would probably just try random stuff like undoing the cache tweak, turning off the backlight sensor, etc.
|
Will do.
I just restored the .rbk from before it acted up. It still does it. Undid the registry tweaks. Still does it. =[ Karot |
If it still does it with the tweaks undone and it works properly on a hard reset, then I would assume it is some sort of app conflict...

I found that uninstalling Slide2Unlock has greatly increased my phones speed over what it was doing while I had Slide2Unlcok active.
|
I thought that might be the case, as I would have ample memory before I went to sleep and only 2MB after waking up. I figured the only program running was Slide2Unlock. Good to know. Love the program, but I'll get rid of it now. Thanks for the info.
