MobiTV

Since we dont have Sprint TVDo you guys use Mobitv? How is the quality?

letsgoflyers81 07-23-2007 09:26 AM

The quality is OK, but I was hoping for better. I usually run it fullscreen and while it's not terrible, it's definitely not the clearest or smoothest picture.

If you have a PC at home, and invest in a TV tunner, you can use ORB.

www.orb.com

It's free and works great.

I still stick with my slingbox.... the other options never seem to compare.
just my .02

I don't really like MobiTV that much. The quality is sub-par, and the channel selection is pretty limited.

Musicman247 07-23-2007 04:18 PM

I can also vouch for Orb. It's good for TV as well as music, pics and videos on your computer.

Slingbox is simply amazing, orb is choppy for me.

bamrock 07-24-2007 08:14 AM

I read some conflicting reports on slingbox using the Mogul. Are you guys using the "regular" or the "pro"? I'm sorry if that's not what they are called exactly, but I admit my slingbox knowledge is limited. Anyways, some people said the older classic (that might be what it's called actually) was working well but the slingbox pro was choppy. Can anyone clarify that because if I could tune into the good old DirecTV while I'm not home I'd be a happy camper.
