making ringtones

I am currently with nextel until I recieve my mogul, but i wanna know can u make your own ringtones and upload them to your mogul....i used to make my own ringtones for my i870....just wondering thats all...i've search the forum, but nothing came up

I use audacity which you is free. Just load the file you want, cut it to the size you want and use activesync to put it on the mogul.

I have tried a number of different programs but I think Audacity is the best. ANd it's also free, which is nice!

I use a program called MP3 Cutter, but any audio editing software should be just fine. I cut the mp3 down to 30 seconds (or shorter if it's for SMS or voicemail) and put it in the Windows directory. Works like a charm.
