I find it best to use a card reader to copy movie files to the SD card as it takes forever otherwise. From there just see if the files you have work in WMP. If not look for tcpmp. The videos shouldn't be full HD quality, but other than that you thould be able to get somewhere this way.

The SD card reader is the best way by far for actually copying the movies over. If you don't have a reader, you can copy them over via activesync. Just doubleclick "My Computer" and you will see an icon for your phone. You can copy and paste the files you want.

If you have the software, its best to encode your movies in a format that is optimized to your phone to increase playback performance and reduce file size. I like xvid format encoded to 320x240 myself.

I use Pocket DVD Studio which works well for me and is pretty simple. I've used NERO recode as well. There are freeware alternatives, but I haven't used them myself.

I love using the Super Video converter. Its freeware and has more choices of encoding video than any other program available. Choose the codec, container, video resolution, video bitrate, and much more.

there is a tutorial in the 6700 forum on how to do it and it works flawlessly on the 6700 and the 6800 it uses tcpmp and codes it as divx
