Data Provisioning Failure

just got my new ppc 6800 and upgraded to 6.1 from the htc website for now. Every other day or so i get "Data Provisioning Failure" notification is red letters next to the EV symbol which read "IOTA" the notification says as follows....Error Code: 1012 Could not prepare Vision services. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact sprint.

i connect just fine on the network and the pocket pc works flawlessly.. so is there anything i need to worry about? oh ya and i let the sprint self install since this phone has plenty of rom vs. my old 6700 which needed every last mb.

Are you on Sprint?
I went from my Treo 800w to my Mogul yesterday afternoon and i had the same problem. After about 3 hours i went back to my 800w.

Sprint PCS is my carrier. How come you made the switch back? Did you have data problems? My data works just fine but i did not notice if i get kicked off when the error occurs.

just got another one of these funky errors and it seems to want to kick me off data. this might be a noobski kinda problem for some of you but hey thats what this website is for. should i be worried about this or should i take my 2 day old mogul back to the sprint store?

Reflash the rom again or do a hard reset.

i've been getting these error messages recently too. data and phone work fine still but annoying to get the message.

This started happening to me about a week ago as well. Seems to have no effect, but it is disconcerting. Anyone find out why? They are probably trying to get you to get rid of your Mogul
