Question before I buy
I tried searching but could not find anything definite. Is there any solid fix for the white spots issue. I am looking at buying a used 6800, but if I buy it and it develops white spots I wont be able to return it. Thanks for any help yall can give.

The white spot issue is hardware related so no fix. They all wil get at least one on the lower left side of the screen, but they aren't that noticeable until you have a white background.

as demonlordoftheround said, its a hardware issue and there is no fix for it. I've had a spot on mine since the day i got it(brand new from sprint). you wont notice it unless you're at a completely white screen and even then its not that noticeable.
minor issue, nothing worth returning the phone

I had one as a replacement that was so glaring that I refused it. Some are VERY white!
