removing program icons from menu
 

I had installed slide 2 unlock and unistalled it. now the icon is stuck in my start menue program list. I have done a soft reset as well as reinstalling the program and trying to uninstall it. any suggestions?

ths problem as well as not being able to sync my contacts with my phone after doing the rom upgrade. I have the greyed out box issie. I used to have a link to fix the problem but not anymore. im running xp with outlook 07.

Can't you go to \Windows\Start Menu and delete the shortcut from there?

Id say attempt to delete and re-create your sync partnerships and then delete and re-create an account in Outlook 07 that will not connect to any external mail servers and tie it to your activesync profile...

This is what I do. Some shortcuts are read-only and can't be moved out of the box. But I use Resco to change the properties so I can delete, move, or hide them. Works great.
