couple of issues

I am having a couple of issues and I was wondering if others have had them and been able to overcome the. I am having a problem with the microphone. I am trying to add voice tags for voice dialing and I have to put my mouth right against the microphone and practically yell or it fails to pick up my voice. My other issue is with the pocket ie. When I have click a link to an update cab, it doesn't save the file but tries to open it and display it in the browser.

Have you turned on the Mic AGC?
Start Menu-->Settings-->System-->Microphone AGC

This is common, just reloading the page will sometimes fix it, other times you will have to open it in another browser

I have been using the basic cyberon voice dialer. Is the cyberon voice commander better to use for voice dialing?

I have finally been able to do some looking into my mogul again. I just realized the the microphone ag setting was on my 6700. On my mogul that setting is not on the programs list anywhere. Is there a separate cab I can dl and install for it or a registry setting that I can use? This mic is working really poorly. I have to shout into it to be heard and then the playback is distorted.

Try recording the voice tags in a quiet room, hold the phone like you are making a call and speak normal.

Wow. I don't even have the microsphoneagc.exe file on my mogul. I wonder if I need to flash the rom again and see if that fixes it.

It shouldn't make a different, but my phone is a TP. And I am running a custom ROM. This is a default feature and not some special add in
