I can't get GMAIL to work on my MOGUL HELP???

I enable POP in Gmail for ALL mail.
I setup gmail on the phone to download messages from the past 3 days
Message format is HTML, set to download entire message.
Checks every 15 mins

I can send email from the phone, but I wont be able to see it again in my OUTBOX. Nothing is being downloaded into my INBOX on the phone.

What am I doing wrong???

TIA

Every time you send and receive with Gmail, the messages in your inbox from your last send and receive disappear. You might want to set the syncing to a longer time period than 15 minutes...

You MUST specify the ports for the incoming and outgoing servers for gmail.

pop.gmail.com:995
smtp.gmail.com:465

Outgoing server requires authentication

I think for the username you have to have it as
"recent:username@gmail.com"
without quotes.

ya u need to define the ports... follow this

onfiguring other mail clients

You can use the following information to configure POP with many mail clients. If you encounter difficulties, we suggest contacting your mail client's customer support department for further instructions -- we're not able to provide assistance with configuring mail clients not listed here.

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL: pop.gmail.com

Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587 (i used 587)

Account Name: your Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password: your Gmail password

Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address.

* Did you click 'Save Changes' after enabling POP in Gmail? To ensure that Gmail can communicate with your mail client, be sure to click Save Changes on the Gmail Forwarding and POP settings page.

hope that helps

I use the JAVA App with the Midlet Manager, works great. Mail stays on server and you can search.

Am I the only one that was able to do it without manually configuring the ports? I had to do that on my Apache, but not on my Mogul...
