Voice Command 1.6/Wired Headset Initiation

Hey there, new member, long time reader, just got my mogul and have been playing with it extensively, I appreciate all the information that I got from here.

My question is this: Is there a way to initiate the voice command by pressing and holding/ or just pressing the call button on the wired headset that came include with the Mogul?

When I press and hold the call button on the wired headset it initiated the preinstalled voice dialing program. Any ideas?

I found a program at the XDA thread called "talkbutton detector 3.0" has anyone tried it?

I haven't found a way to do this, I am guessing that you would need to install something to do this.
