wm6 VOIP doesnt work on HTC Titan....
 

I can get it working on my Hermes but the today screen applet doesnt even show on today screen when I install it on ppc 6800. Whats the deal? Anyone know?

Looking to put my vision to use and make voip calls.

Its believed that the titan is missing several of certificate files needed for Voip to work.

what kind of VoIP are we talking about?

IIRC Evdo Rev A. allow for VoIP call so that you don't have to drop the EVDO data session when a phone call come in, since no rev A yet... no VoIP?

HSDPA on ATT also allow for similar VoIP call as EVDO Rev A.

unless you are talking about some other VoIP like Skype or what not?

I've used the mobile version of Skype (which of course is VOIP) and it sounded like garbage. Uninstalled it almost immediately. Perhaps when we get the Rev A, we'll have access to more VOIP capabilities.

I have asterisk at work (trixbox 2.2) and wifi can I use 6800 as sip phone?

You need a wm SIP client. It should work, you just need to find the software.

Hopefully someone is working on getting the WM6 Sip Client working.
