Battery life looks pretty damn good thus far. I have been using my A2DP on and off all day, made a few calls on it, lots of text messaging, used the calculator a few times and it's still at 70% battery. I think the fact that you can now turn the thing "off" without WMP being interrupted has a lot to do with the improved battery life.

What about when using wifi or cellular data? I'm usually online 2-3 hours a day w/ wifi and data and it sucks my battery down pretty quickly.

hmm we will need someone to test it out.

in my tests, the 6700 performed about 2.5 - 3 hours of continuous streaming via evdo
with stock battery

closer to 2 hours 20 minutes (or so) with streaming video via orb (with backlight at about 2 or 3 clicks above bottom) and closer to 3 hours via audio using GSPlayer

that sound about right everyone?

I'm not expecting a revolution with battery life with a 1500maH using streaming data but perhaps BT 2.0 and dedicated processor for phone will have different effects on battery life

Well I haven't been having very good battery life at all. I don't know what the problem is. Could be me or the battery could just suck.

Actually, for being a 1500mAh battery, it has exceeded my expectations. It performs better than the Seidio 2400mAh battery I had for my 700wx.

the battery is pretty good for me. but yes, wifi sucks the battery pretty badly. however, there is an option to reduce wifi speed and improve the battery life. being in a low signal environment also isnt good on the battery.

The battery life has been pretty good for me. I'm sure the lower speed processor designated to the phone helps save power. Like Pibe38, my battery life appears to be better than my 700wx with my extended 2400mah battery.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised that the wifi performance on battery life.
