We've come even further in the last 20 years. However, I think you make a good point though, in the last few we have seen a lot of changes.

I still miss my old 6600. Ya know, if Sprint had put out the EV-DO update, and especially if they'd released a winmo5 update. I would trade a small phone like the 6800 or 6700 for a monster like the 6600 any day of the week.

Oh well, i'm done beating this dead horse.

BTW, side by side 1MB speed tests to http://www.dslreports.com/mspeed show:

6600 = 078 kbit/sec
6700 = 765 kbit/sec
6600 = 917 kbit/sec

i am sure he meant to put 6800 but as a side note, i moded my bosses 6600 and was getting better speeds than my 6700. 800kbps+ almost every test on the same site, ran over 10 of them. The radio in the 6600 was really nice. too bad sprint didn't feel it was worth the update.
