has anyone else experienced problems with changing ur display name i havent been able to do it once and i have installed like 3 of these. I sent my friends the smartphone version since she has a Q same problem cant change our names and people cant see our display pic. since there r 3 different threads of this im posting in each one.

I downloaded them from he downloads section. As i am typing this I realize you guys have wwm6 on your sprint phones. maybe someone can help though.

This user has a WM5 P4000, anyone have experience with the Windows Live CAB on WM5?

I never had an issue, if i understand corectly, you mean the Display Name? if so then yeah i changed it like 3x and atleast on my phone it shows that i changed it. If you want i post the verision i have to try out. lemme know.

P.S. this is on a 6700 though not a 6800

I've had the same problem for ages now...in the latest Beta. I am even having the same problem on WM6 on my Mogul. Can't change the display name nor the display pic. When you go to synchronize, it says, Sync Failed: Personal Settings So the Personal Settings are not syncing, which is causing the display pic and display name to not change or sync.

I even posted this in the old Windows Live thread in the 6700 forum.
