Why no PBAP

I've been trying to figure out a why to export my phone book to my car and I'm very disappointed that the HTC doesn't support Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP). Does anyone know why this is not used for BT?

what kind of a car do you have... i know my dads bmw wouldnt sink with his treo he installed jetware on there and it worked like a charm perhaps try installing jetware 1.3

Acura. It appears JetWare will only do signal and battery. Both of these were not available w/ my stock 6700, but w/ my 6800 I have both of these features right out of the box. Just no PBAP. :|

really? i've read that PBAP seem to work on the Tytn/hermes (maybe they had to tweak it)

I just installed the parrot MK6100 BT phone/music car kit

Happy to report my Mogul sync my phonebook to the MK6100 automatically. Not sure if it was done via PBAP or some other method though

Has anyone else had anymore luck in this department. I cannot seem to get my phonebook to transfer even though I've installed jetware.

If anyone has had luck using jetware and transferring contacts please let me know.

Thanks,

Q

+2...... I also would like the Datalink bluetooth profile.

I have an 07 Acura TL with bluetooth and Navi. I have signal strength and battery support (not so useful).

Anyone know how to modify the Mogul to activate other bluetooth profiles?
