Windows Live better on 6700 aku 3.5
 

I just got this phone and so far I don't like the live search. Windows Live on this phone requires a hotmail account. Does anyone know how to get it to work like the version in the aku 3.5 upgrade?

Also, can programs be removed from the rom and can the boot up (sprint logo) be changed as well.

i never signed in on mine.... r u looking at windows live or windows live search, i have used serach to get multiple numbers and addresses and havent had to sign into anything

I guess it would be windows live search. On the aku 3.5 build it's more of an app as oppose to html base.

They are 2 different things. Windows Live and Live Search.

Just go to http://wls.live.com and get Live search and you're all good.

I found the app at http://mobile.search.live.com/client/download.aspx.

The live search is pretty sweet. I ran this app on my 700wx and it was very helpful. On the 6800 it does load much faster than it did on my 700wx.

Funny thing is that the Live Search Icon will eventually dissapear from the Programs Menu for some reason. Anyone else?

Mine is there, although I did move it because the default installation puts it in \Start Menu and I moved it to \Start Menu\Programs.
