Javascript

How do you enable javascript for internet explorer on WM6? I have searched for the browser settings but for the life of me can't find them.

I don't remember exactly how they explained it somwhere else, but although Javascript works on WM6 Java is not 100% percent compatible, which is probably what you are looking for.

For example, bank sites, lately MySpace, and other sites will not work.

myspace dont work on wm6?

nichol 06-25-2007 02:20 PM

Yeah, it is a bank site. So I am guessing an upadate or something will come out, or is it always not going to work?

Pibe38 06-25-2007 02:27 PM

It will probably won't work. Maybe other browsers have better support. Also, banks are starting to roll out mobile sites, I know mine did.

I have not tested MySpace on my Mogul yet, but after all the recent updated to MySpace, I was not able to login to it from my 700wx. I'd get kicked back to the login screen after putting in my password.

use opera mobile. I used it through the beta, and it had built in java support, and support for flash 7 for ppc, so i could go to youtube, myspace, and my bank site/ credit card site with no problems

I was going to say, use Opera Mobile. It seems to render web pages extremely accurately, with features fully intact. I tend to use IE for most sites due to speed, but whenever I need to use a more complex site I use Opera.

You mean Flash 9 right? Flash 7 is available as a standalone PIE plugin and it does not support YouTube.
