Device Lock Error
I'm not sure how to fix this. I installed a program called Device Lock that some members here mentioned. This addon made it so that when coming out of sleep I would have to press the bottom left softkey to unlock the phone.
Unfortunately it only worked about 90% of the time so I decided to uninstall it and find something else. I ran the uninstall....soft reset and now anytime I wake my phone it says: "Cannot execute '\Program Files\Lock\DeviceLock.exe'" I ran a search through the Registry with no luck. How do I get rid of this? |
Get either MemMaid or SK Tools and they should be able to fix that for you.

on a related not, I have had 100% effectiveness using onLock. Check your \windows\startup folder, maybe you have a shortcut to the location which no longer exists?

I results with Device Lock are extremely iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it'll only work when the phone shuts off on its own and not when I press the power button. Sometimes I get the error, sometimes I don't. This will change from time to time when I haven't done a reset, installed anything, or anything else I can think of which would cause the functionality to change.

onLock is working much much better for me. Only downside is that to unlock I have to hit two buttons and a button on the touch screen. One extra step but at least it works reliably.

Can someone please provide a link to onLock? I searched and found a few references to it, but can't find where to download it from.

I did a google search and came up with this: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...k-program.html |
You're Google-Fu must be better than mine since I wasn't able to find it, thanks. Anyway, I installed onLock and it works but I still have a problem. Despite uninstalling Device Lock and doing a soft reset, when my Mogul wakes up I still get Notification Error

There are ways to remove this using sktools or memmaid. The easy way is to reinstall the device lock, reboot and go to the settings. Disable (uncheck) all options and then uninstall it again. Reboot and you should be fine.
