Screen Issues?

ok first off, i love this phone. My question is, my screen goes on whenever it wants, for no reason, and its killing my battery. A lot of times i leave the phone on my desk, and if im doing something on my pc, i see the screen light up in the corner of my eye. the only program im running is NewsBreak, for the rss feeds. Anybody have an idea as to why this happens? thanx

Uhmm the only thing I could think of is a dangling notification... use something like SK Tools or MemMaid to check for them.

my 6700 deos the same thing, and when it does I notice that its when its connecting to the net

thanks pibe, i used MemMaid, but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary that woudl cause this. I did find out though that since i got the phone, i haven't cleaned out the PIE cache, and it was at like 10 mb, lol
