can I map a key/link on start menu

Trying to create a link on the start menu -or- map a key to the following location:

start -> settings -> system -> memory -> running programs

Reason is obvious... to be able to end running programs.

If it can't be done, I would consider a 3rd party program (which can then be put on the start menu) if there is a good 'taks manager'.

Also, I asked before if anyone knew which version of MAME I would need to download in order to run on the Mogul.

Thanks,
ghersh

I just learned from another thread that the HTC X-Button app works on our model (even though the sites say only Hermes/TyTn), and it works like a dream. Doesn't take me to the Memory/Running Programs section, but instead makes closing running programs a breeze. Tap and hold the X button to truly CLOSE the current program, or tap the menu that appears where the X button would be on the Today screen and access a list of program you can close. Also from there you can go to Settings within that and see a list of running programs and how much memory they're using.

That little tool really uplifted my spirits today, as I was starting to get really upset by the available memory on this thing and how quickly it's eaten up.

ghersh, you need the running programs app that is in the Apache kitchen. I will try to dig it up and put it in a cab. Get with me in the chat room if I forget and I can get it to you.

Yes, X-button works better. Which version are you running? I have heard that there are still issues with teh 1.5.
