on a second look, mine are raised slightly too, but not in danger of peeling or falling off at all

The lack of RAM for Running Apps makes me want to send it back but I'm sure they will address it in the next Service Pack.

yes but the question is is it 2 separate physical locations on the board for RAM vs ROM or is it 1 location ith a software lock on how it is allocated. i hate to say it but i think it might be 2 separate locations which would mean we are stuck!
