Water/Moisture Indicator on Battery

So I dropped my phone when it was snowing outside and my battery exploded out of the phone and landed in some slush. My phone was fine, but now my battery has the red indicator showing moisture. I'm hoping to know what sprint protocol is concerning battery moisture indicators and if they can deny extended warranty based on the battery. I hate going through insurance if I ever have a problem with my phone. Thanks!

I'd suggest worst case scenario if something happens to your phone and it needs to be replaced is to buy a new battery. Then if there isn't any other water damage on the phone you should be fine.

i think they'll use the excuse if they have it, to make you pay the $50...

If you are using the original battery you should replace it with an extended life battery anyway. If they question it, tell them that the battery they gave you with it sucked.
