My sprint mogul was working fine this morning then... it freaked out.

Earlier today, my mogul was working fine. But then it started getting sluggish, so I decided to soft reset it. Then the freak out begins.

This is my process of turning on the phone.

- Press power button
- Get to green windows mobile screen and hangs for a 5-10 minutes. (If I don't have the charger in, the screen turns off and turns on later when the phone gets stuck on the green boot up screen.)
- I managed to disable all my today plugins but when I try to get to SK Tools to try to fix the phone, i can't even make it past the start menu. It freaks out and the delay time is looong.
- The phone then craps itself and turns off the screen, but not letting me turn it back on. Forcing me to soft reset or take out the battery.

Oh yeah, and I can't even use the 'phone'. The radio turns its self off and I can't turn it on!!!!!!!!
I HATE MY MOGUL!!! It sucks!!!!!! What can I do?!?!??!

well...if your trying to not have to hard reset, you could put the phone on the train track and wait for something cool to happen....

lol.. Okay.. Try soft resetting when it hangs like that.. If you can't do that, really just bite the bullet and do a Hard Reset if possible.. Your problems will then be solved..

Ok, it looks like a hard reset is my option.

I'm going to try what several other members have done. They called up Asurion and filed a claim and they got a brand new diamond. Wooo hooo

I hope they don't offer me a mogul, I want a diamond...

Lol, here are my problems. I'm only going to mention the physical ones. If I mention software problems, they might just tell me to "hard reset" and live life.

Anyways, heres my problems:

Lots and lots of scratches.
When I slide open the keyboard sometimes, it resets the phone.
Some keys on the keyboard are unresponsive the first few clicks.
The left D-PAD buttons doesn't work...
My messaging and Comm Manager buttons are broken in. They work but i don't have any feedback.

Are those enough problems for a new Diamond??? The mogul SUCKS!!!
How exactly do I lure them into offering me a diamond???

I bet those scratches were caused by end-user..
You need to relearn how to slide open keyboard..
Try a hard reset, worked for me...
You must have broke the buttons...
That I think qualifies you for a replacement Mogul...

Above is based on what I think a Sprint Rep will see when you tell them
