Retained SERO ($30) upgrading to Touch Pro?

I still have a few months left in my contract which is the SERO $30, and totally want to keep it at $30 - its the only thing left that makes iPhone users wince. Problem is, upgrading to any smartphone now requires the new unlimited plans, and I'm afraid it may force me to the current SERO $60 plan. Has anyone here upgraded their Mogul to the Touch Pro with their SERO $30 intact?

Thanks in advance!

My contract had already expired, but I did exactly that when I bought my Touch Pro at Best Buy. They had to call in to talk to Sprint, but it was no problem.

Thanks for the heads up. With this SERO plan, I don't care much about contract extensions, since its better than any other plan out there - hands down.

The last time I tried to upgrade, the Sprint store rep said they couldn't touch my account for some reason. Hopefully it doesn't happen for this upgrade.

Instead of SERO Sprint now offers SEP (Simply Everything Plus):

Seriously, the $30 SERO plan is unreal. I'm dreading the day I have to give it up.

Is there a way you could just pay full price for a phone, without any rebates or discounts from Sprint, and have them just switch your account to use the new phone by giving them something like the ESN number?

Or go into a sprint store reporting a problem on your mogul. People have been reporting that they are getting the Touch Pro exchanged for FREE without having to extend their contract.

I'm curious of this as well. When my contract is up, what are my options?

I'd like to simply keep the plan and pay full price for a phone, however I assume I cannot keep a $30/month plan forever.
