extended rom

can anyone tell me why my extended rom is not showing up after i hard reset and did the gps fix and mr1 update? it did before but now its not showing up at all. also what is it for? i know there were cabs in there i had never seen before. is there somewhere i need to look for it? i have schaps advanced config 3.3 also. thanks
