Increase touch screen sensitivity?

I have always noticed that I had to push really hard to get anything out of my 6800. I was wondering if there was a way to increase the sensitivity. Or should I try and get an insurance claim? Or just deal with it. Its really annoying I pulled out my old Dell AXIM X50v and the thing is SOOOOO responsive to any touch. And it is almost 4 years old now….

Take it into a sprint store, they may be willing to exchange it for free (without paying the $50 for the insurance claim). I went in fulling expecting to have to claim insurance on mine, and was pleasantly surprise because they switched it out for me with a new one. Also now people are saying that they're getting a Touch Pro now... It's worth a shot!

well, first try recalibrating by touching lightly (or finger/thumb)
2nd, the touch pro screen does take a harder press than the titan..
3rd, it's always a gamble as to a replacement, even if it's new. I just got a new mogul 3 weeks ago, and it's usb stopped working, charge worked, but was flaky sometimes. so now I got a pro. (still getting used to not having all the handy buttons/wheel)

I was going to suggest the same thing^

I find that initial calibration kind of 'sets the bar' for touch screen sensitivity. Try calibrating again with a lighter touch first.

I brought a Titan into a Sprint store for the exact same issue and walked out with a Diamond at no cost. No insurance fees or hassle. There appears to be a shortage of replacement Titan's as they could not even order one.
