Using the phone before you charge it?

Right before I was going to charge my phone someone called and we talked for about 5 mins but after I cut the phone off now i'm letting it charge for 4 hours. Did I hurt the battery or it should still work like it would if I never talked on it?

No, the battery already comes half-charged. This is done for in-store activations.
