Do 6800's typically have sub-par screens?
 

Two of my friends (well, let's say ex friends now) both had weird pixel issues going on. From random flickering, to what appeared to be dead pixels (just white)

Anything like that normal? Thinking about getting the gf one so she can get a hang of ppc phones

Yeah..the white spots are a known issue with some 6800's. I personally never had it happen on mine, but it's been reported here several times. The people who had it happened have simply had the phones exchanged. They're still good devices, I wouldn't let that stop you from getting one for her.
