About Rom's

I've been reading threads about which rom to use but I have a question. I have used DCD's, Scott Oslers, and GAmedics now I have made my own using buildos is there something that they do or have or are capable of (might say regular but still a noob) that I am not that makes there roms better. hope this makes sense

Re: About Rom's

the chefs you mentioned all also edit parts of the rom tht you can't do just inside build os. Like the sys and xip and xml files and such... All that stuff is way over my head, so I too bounce back nd forth between a pre-cooked rom and building one myself.

Re: About Rom's

From what I've read, they make optimizations by adding or removing certain drivers, moving things around, maybe editing DLL files. I'm sure there are a lot of behind-the-scenes work that they use to free up more RAM or to generally make things faster or more stable. I just start with a kitchen and add or remove OEMs. That is the extent of my cooking abilities.
