the green light wont go away

Just got my ppc 6800, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why the notification led 2 (the upper right) led keeps blinking green. Is this normal and can't be turned off, or what else should I be checking? I have no messages, no vms, no missed calls. TIA

This is a quote from the user's guide...

Quote:
Bi-color LED on the right side: Green and Orange for CDMA standby, SMS message, CDMA network status, notification, battery charging status.
Could it be that the LED stays on/blinks when there's service as many others do?

That's what I initially thought when I read it. I came from using a treo that didn't blink when it's just sitting there so I wasn't sure if that was the case with the ppc 6700/6800. If it's normal though, then I gues I can learn to ignore it. =-P

Yes, it is normal. I would hope HTC would of changed it, or give a option to change it.
