loading cab files
 
hello, can anyone help me with loading files on my mogul 6800, i have tried using activesync, who can help me and where do i go to read more on this. thank you and happy new year. where can i get the iphone theme rom for my mogul 6800 and is it any good

If you have a sd card, you can copy them to there or just copy them to your phone through active sync..... Then click on them from the phone and viola, it will install. as far as the iphone, its not a rom, its a user interface and there is plenty around this site.

search for an application called IFONZ thats a nice and basic iphone interface. i would recommend you to start there until you feel better about installing files.

The rule of thumb here is that .EXEs are run on the PC with the PPC connected via AS to the PC.

.CABs are transfered (or saved) to the PPC (via AS, IR or memory card) and run on the PPC

And Walmart sells the iPhone for $99 now so go get one if you want an iPhone. Dont turn the state of the art device into a mutt by forcing it to pretend it is something it isnt. Thats just not cool in my eyes and I know thats just my opinion. I had a 1st gen iPhone and the most impressive thing on it was the camera with its clarity and speed.
