New 6800 - dead pixels
 

So I guess it can happen, but I've never seen it on any of my other devices... I have two dead pixels on my brand new 6800. Is this common?? It's pretty irritating to have this nice, new, bright screen, with two dead pixels staring right at me. For the price I paid, I don't want dead pixels!

sounds like a warranty replacement to me......

no dead pixels on mine altho at first the screen would flicker when I touched it but only when I turned it on for the first 3-5 times.
