OK i think i've finally got it how i want it! After countless hours of screwin around with spb mobile shell, winterface, point ui, and any others i may have tried and not named I've come to this. and i like it. HTC home and spb mobile shell.

You need a screen capture program. The one that I use comes as part of Resco photo viewer. There are a few free options. HERE is the link from the first post in this thread.
