my mogul's phone keeps saying "off". help??
 

Hi everybody, I just did my brother's htc 6800 (sprint mogul) into metro pcs. I unlocked the mogul using the HardSPL I found in this forum and flashed it to an Alltel ROM which I also found here. I have done the same thing on my mogul b4, thanks to all the members and threads in PPCGEEKS forums who helped me. But, this time, after I did the SuperCID and changed the esn, my phone just doesn't catch a signal, I don't know why, i can't even make one single call, even 611 doesn't go through. on the top left corner of the screen, it says "phone off", I turn it on in the communication manager and everything, but still cannot make a call. it says No service when the phone is on for few seconds. can anyone help me please?????

I want to know if the phone is bricked or what? if so, how can i fix it. please help me. any help is appreciatable.:violent2: i very frustrated. i paid a lot for my phone & for my brother's one. i can't waste money like that....please help soimone....u can also pm me

Did you load the correct PRL? That'd be the first thing I'd check.

If when you turn the phone on you get the 'searching' icon (right under the cell bars icon all you see are moving dots, not the standard cell signal bars) you may need tech support to give you a new Home SID / NID (home location cell identifier).

If your phone is searching for a signal, after a while it will turn the phone off to conserve battery.

If thats the case, give them a call, they'll walk you through getting into the EPST settings and give you the correct SID / NID.

You might want to try rewriting the esn. I did that on my bosses touch. His the phone did the same thing. and the signal strengh had a little circle next to the tower. also if you have the HTC home screen it will prolly say "no service". did you use QPST or QXDM?

i used QPST apacho01...i don't know what to do? help me please....it had the same problem u r talking about, a little circle next to the signal tower, and i would press " turn on the phone" and it would say "No service"...
