My 6800 will not get a data connection!
 

I just got my new Titan set up on my Alltel account, and I can make and recieve calls, but I cant connect to a data connection. I've gone and done all I know to do, by setting up the modem connection that dials #777, but It wont connect. It says, "Cannot connect for an unknown reason..." Blah Blah Blah... What am I doing wrong?

my old 800w used to do that(u mite not wanted to hear that word old, as in replaced) BUT, as long as its still stock, since u just got it hard reset, u cud use sprite backup to back up ya stuff

addition: are u roaming?? that mite be it..whats ur PRI version

try calling 1-888-483-2493 from a phone other than yours.then follow the dirictions

prolly alltel tech support or sumthin, being that yearn got da same provider..no harm in asking questions, but, we trying to help, ya digg???

What the heck!!! I called the number, and it asked for my 10 digit number, so I gave it, and I said the number wasn't in their system! Just to be sure, I called my house with my cell phone and it is connected fine. :{ What does all this mean!?!!11

wow, didint expect that, idk..mayb yearn fat fingered a number or sumthin...but when u got that i soft reset first....if still no worky...go to start/settings/connections/connections/advanced/under my ISP tap edit/make sure power vision is checked(now if alltel is different, then u wanna make sure ur selected network dials #777) and being that its new, there shudn't b anything else there, so if so, hell tap and hold choose delete it..u just want #777.....hopefully that'll get u in the right direction
