I had the sam issue with mine through Sprint. They had me go to the key pad and hit ##3282# and it took about 2 minutes but then I got my data connection finally.

yea, for us...but alltel is different, they kinda like cricket wit da ##228 or whatever it is they use

When I had the 6800 I would do a soft reset after I put in info for the #777 and it would work after that

Well, I called the number yearn gave me today and they still don't recognize my number... and I'm about to call alltel and see if they can activate data manually.

Did you try *611 from your phone? then I think option 3 is tech support.
